Gestern Abend hatte Apple die aktuellste beta (4) für das bald kommende iOS 6 freigegeben. Diesmal erleben wir neben vielen Bugfixes und kleinen Featureextensions auch 2 große Überraschungen. Apple hat die
YouTube-App aus dem iOS 6 entfernt. Aber mal ganz ehrlich: Nutzt jemand von Euch die YouTube-App? Also ich habe bis dato alles über den Browser gemacht – es lebe HTML5. Die Lizenzierung von YouTube zwischen Google und Apple ist schlichtweg abgelaufen und Apple verweist auf die HTML5 Version, zudem wird Google auch eine YouTube App im AppStore veröffentlichen. Die zweite Überraschung ist die
neue Funktion Bluetooth Sharing – was genau sich dahinter verbirgt ist noch unklar, Gerüchte besagen jedoch, dass auch fremde Geräte diesen Dienst nutzen dürfen um z.B. Dateien oder aber auch Content (z.B. SMS) auslesen zu können. Bluetooth, SMS, Dateien… Klingt mir erst mal nach viel Gefahrenpotential, aber lassen wir uns überraschen was Apple bis zum Endrelease von iOS 6 noch so auf die Beine stellt.
