Ich habe schon lange den Wunsch, diverse Daten meines BlackBerry ohne den Desktop Manger und von überall zu sichern. Vor einiger Zeit habe ich BAK2u vorgestellt, ein App welches Daten wie Emails, Kontakte, Aufgaben, usw. OTA auf einen Emailaccount schickt und dort als „Backup“ vorhält.
Heute möchte ich Euch gerne auf DataBackup for BlackBerry® aufmerksam machen. Fakt ist, es ist noch eine „Early Beta“ und befindet sich momentan in Version 0.0.1. Bisher kann die Anwendung Kontakte auf der SD-Karte speichern und sie von dort aus auch wiederherstellen. Ok ich weiß, nicht wirklich viel, doch ich erhoffe mir vom Entwickler, dass fleissig weiterentwickelt wird und dem BlackBerry User mehr Funktionen zur Verfügung stehen.
Wer schon mal testen möchte, muss seinen Namen und Emailadresse im Formular hinterlassen und erhält anschließend einen OTA-Downloadlink.
