Mittlerweile wird die Nachfrage nach dem Exchange 2010 Support für den BlackBerry Enterpsie Server 5.0 immer größer. Wie von vielen vermutet, sollte dieser mit dem SP1 für den BES 5.0 kommen, was jedoch nicht geschehen ist. Man kann also ganz stark davon ausgehen (es gibt auch schon Gerüchte dazu), dass uns mit dem Maintenance Release 1 der Support für den Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 erreichen wird. Wie in meinen Kommentaren und in „Rolands Erinnermich“ zu lesen ist, funktioniert diese Konstellation, man muss nur einige Punkte beachten (Danke an Roland):
- Bei der Exchange 2010 Installation die Option “Clients vor Outlook 2003…” aktivieren
- Im Netzwerk muss ein WINS Server vorhanden sein
- Berechtigungen für den BES-Admin müssen wie für den Exchange 2007 gesetzt werden
- Auf dem BES Server müssen die Microsoft Exchange MAPI Client and Collaboration Data Objects (CDOs) 1.2.1 installiert werden
