Damit der BlackBerry Server mit dem RIM-Relay kommunizieren kann, muss der Port 3101 in der Firewall nach Außen hin geöffnet werden. Besitzt man jedoch keine Hardware-Firewall, sondern schützt sich mit dem ISA-Server, so sind folgende Schritte notwendig:
- Erstellen einer neuen Zugriffsregel
- Ausgewählte Protokolle
- Ein neues Protokoll anlegen, als Bezeichnung z.B. “Blackberry” angeben, einen neuen Port angeben
- Portbereich 3101, TCP, Ausgehend
- Dann noch den Quell-Server angeben und als Ziel “Extern” angeben
Um sicherzustellen, dass die Konfiguration erfolgreich übernommen worden ist, kann man auf dem BES folgenden Befehl über die Kommandozeile testen:
- Telnet srp.de.blackberry.net 3101
Wird nur noch ein schwarzes Kommando-Fenster sichtbar, so ist die Konfiguration richtig, andernfalls noch mal von Vorne beginnen.
Mit „Extern“ mache ich die Regel aber ins Ganze Internet auf. Idealerweise gibt man als Ziel nur die RIM Server an. Dazu hattest Du vor ein paar Wochen einen KB-Artikel verlinkt, wo die IP´s drin stehen (oder aber man verwendet als Ziel den Hostnamen „de.srp.blackberry.com“)
