Um den Ordner Gelöschte Objekte vom BlackBerry aus zu leeren, sind folgende Schritte notwendig:
- Nachrichtenordner öffnen
- BB-Taste -> Optionen
- E-Mail-Synchronisierung
- BB-Taste -> Gelöschte Objekte bereinigen
Hinweis: Sind mehrere Email-Konten angebunden, so erscheint eine Abfrage, in welchem Postfach der Gelöschte Objekte Ordner geleert werden soll.
Standartdmäßig werden im Exchange Server 2010 die Verbindungen vom Blackberry Enterprise Server zum Address Book Service auf 50 begrenzt. Damit der BlackBerry Enterprise Server ordnungsgemäß läuft, muss die Anzahl dieser erhöht werden, z.B. auf 100.000. Folgender Workaround behebt das beschriebene Problem:
- Am Microsoft Exchange CAS Server zu
[Laufwerk]:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\V14\Bin
navigieren- Datei microsoft.exchange.addressbook.service.exe.config im Editor öffnen
- Den Wert MaxSessionsPerUser auf 100000 ändern
- Datei speichern und den Adress Book Service neustarten

Wenn der Exchange Server 2010 ohne öffentliche Ordner betrieben wird, muss für eine lauffähige Installation des Blackberry Enterprise Server folgende Einstellung in der Registry vorgenommen werden:
- Registry öffnen: Start -> Ausführen -> regedit > OK
- Navigiere zu:
- 32 Bit

Damit ein BlackBerry Smartphone die Funktionen eines BlackBerry Enterprise Server Express nutzen kann, muss dieses aktiviert (Eine Art Kopplung mit dem BESX) werden. Dieses Video beschreibt die 4 Varianten einer Enterprise Aktivierung am BlackBerry Enterprise Server Express:

- BlackBerry Administration Service (BAS)

Dass der BESX (BlackBerry Enterprise Server Express) momentan sehr begehrt ist dürfte nicht nur mir aufgefallen sein, was ich jedoch viel interessanter finde ist, dass sehr viele „Privatpersonen“ plötzlich von Installationen bei sich zu Hause sprechen (Rückkehr von Unite möglich?). Damit dies keine Hürde darstellt, wurde vom BlackBerry-Team ein Installationsvideo online gestellt, welches wirklich sehr gelungen ist – kann ich jedem empfehlen!

Wie im Entwicklerblog von BlackBerry gerade bekannt gegeben worden ist, sind ab sofort wieder neue Simulatoren verfügbar. Falls Ihr Euch fragt wozu man solch einen Simulator gebrauchen könnte? Jeder Entwickler kann seine programmierten Apps mit Hilfe des Simulators noch auf dem PC/MAC testen, ohne diese vorher kompilieren und auf den BlackBerry installieren zu müssen. Es ist soweit, die „Revolution“ von RIM steht ab heute morgen für alle kostenlos zur Verfügung. Ich denke ich lehne mich nicht zu weit aus dem Fenster, wenn ich behaupte, dass RIM einen sehr großen Schritt gewagt hat und mit diesem auch hoffentlich noch mehr Erfolg haben wird.
